Equip for Sport recognised for environmental and social benefits

CEO Nicki Bardwell and Equip for Sport Program Coordinator Audrey Ting, were delighted to attend the Waste Sorted Awards recently. The Equip for Sport program received a Highly Commended in the Community Waste Award category, recognising its contribution towards a low waste circular economy future, through the collection and reuse of pre-loved sports equipment. A program that delivers both social and environmental benefits. Our Equip for Sport program keeps growing with nearly 17,000 items of pre-loved equipment distributed this year, helping increase access to sport for many thousands of people. A big shout out to Telethon and CTI Logistics whose support keeps this program running.
