Yandeyarra Remote Community School Celebrates 50th Birthday

Yandeyarra Remote Community School recently celebrated its 50th birthday.  Fair Game has developed a strong relationship with the community over the last eleven years of delivering programs there and Fair Game CEO, Nick Bardwell, was privileged to be invited to the celebrations.  Many past students of the school attended the celebration, sharing their recollections of campaigning for a school to be set up and what it was like in the past, as well as how the students continue to learn language and culture on Country guided by Aboriginal educators.

Our Fit and Healthy in the Outback program delivery in Yandeyarra and across the Pilbara is made possible through the support of Hancock Iron Ore, Telethon, the Department of Creative Industries Tourism and Sport, Stan Perron Foundation.
